Haack, Warmboe and LongVoelkner

A few weeks ago I contacted all the candidates who are running for the Bemidji School Board. Since this Board can and has made decisions regarding Charter Schools, I sent them an open-ended question regarding their thoughts on possible collaborations between ISD 31 and the 3 local Charter Schools. 4 candidates responded and 3 did not. All four that responded did indicate a level of willingness to look at areas of collaboration but the three that citied specifics were Jeff Haack, Rob Warmboe and Ann LongVoelkner. It was clear that these three candidates had studied the question and had given it time and consideration. They also seemed ready for a new era for the sharing of facilities, of programs and of ideas so that all kids can have the opportunities they deserve. I would encourage you to support them on Nov 6th.
